Real Estate Department Registration:

Please note that the Real Estate Department does not maintain a waitlist for  oversubscribed courses. Teaching faculty are encouraged to keep their own list for high demand courses. Registration beyond the maximum set for a course is solely at the discretion of the professor teaching the course.

If you trying to register for REAL/FNCE 209 (Real Estate Investments) and find it difficult to register under either section, you may find it helpful to sign up on the Finance Department's waitlist at the following link: https://waitlist.wharton.upenn.edu/

For Real Estate Development, there are two sections (crosslisted three ways) that are offered in the Spring of the year: REAL 821/ REAL 321/ARCH 768-401 and REAL 821/REAL 321/ARCH 768-402. Section 401 is taught by Asuka Nakahara and  402 is taught by Jonathan Weller. See the following link regarding registering.

MBA and Non-MBA Student Registration:

The Real Estate Department does not grant permits to MBA’s if the course in question is in the MBA Course Auction. If a seat becomes available in an oversubscribed course post-auction, the MBA Program Office will offer the seat to the highest unsuccessful bidder in the last round in which the course was offered at the amount of his/her bid.

The Wharton MBA Program Office conducts registration for non-MBA students (who are full-time Penn students) after the MBA Course Auction has closed. At that time non-MBA students can "request" any available post-Auction seats. Please visit the MBA Program Office in 300 JMHH for more information or see the following link:
