Decisions." We test if priming affects housing decisions in an experimental setting. Specifically, we study if potential home buyers make different decisions if they are primed to think about the experience, rather than the physical, aspects of housing consumption. This draws on the emerging literature that experiences have a larger and long-lasting impact on well-being. |

We aim to find out the relative importance of these two mechanisms nonparametrically, using transaction data from the Philadelphia County for 1988-2010. |
